Hi guys! Recently I saw this girl on Instagram wearing a fabulous outfit including fishnet tights and I thought to myself, I should try this myself. So last week I wore the tights with a cute little skirt and loafers and these things are absolute confidence boosters! My legs looked so much better, I felt sexy and sophisticated, god, it was amazing. But I discovered that not everybody is as comfortable with fishnets as I am and that some people still look at me with a pulled up nose when they pass me. So, I decided to promote fishnets by creating 3 different outfits that proof they can be worn classy and elegant for those who are still doubters.
Below you’ll find 3 casual outfits and how I style my fishnet tights. Hope you enjoy and get inspired to try them yourselves!
For my first outfit I’ve paired my tights with a little skater skirt that used to belong to my mom when she was 19 (Couldn’t really find the perfect dupe, but something similar you can find here), and a simple mock neck jumper from H&M. On top I’m wearing my leather jacket from Zara and at my feet my favourite loafers from Primark (similar here). Oh yeah, and the little fluffy beanie I bought last year at Veritas (similar here).
For the second outfit I’ve teamed up with my doggy Pavlov who is like the best “accessory” you could possibly have! Here I’m wearing a pleated skirt from Vero Moda which I bought last year (similar) and a chunky slightly cable knit jumper from H&M (here), paired with my booties from Primark. On top it’s my recently purchased coat from Pull and Bear (here) that I adore. This outfit is so simple and comfortable but yet has that edge to it because of the fishnets. This proves that fishnet tights can make any basic outfit a little bit more interesting and give that little something something.
This is the perfect outfit for anyone who would like to wear fishnets, but not in the most obvious way. Here I’ve worn my tights underneath my ripped jeans together with a band t-shirt from Zara. I’ve worn this outfit a couple of times now already and I’m falling in love with it more and more every time!
